Hi there!
I’m Mariana Guerra, a Venezuelan illustrator based in the U.S.
Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—my safe space and the way I connect with the world. I grew up captivated by visual stories and animated characters, drawing endlessly without knowing that this passion would shape my creative journey. While studying architecture gave me a strong technical foundation, my true love has always been illustration—especially when it brings warmth, humor, and everyday joy to life.
I hold a Master’s degree in Illustration, which has allowed me to deepen my artistic vision and explore a variety of techniques. My style is playful, expressive, and filled with a childlike charm. I enjoy mixing digital tools with traditional materials like watercolor, colored pencils, and alcohol markers, always experimenting to refine my voice and adapt it to different types of stories and projects.
Nature, travel, and daily life constantly inspire me. I find beauty in small details—the kind that make you smile or feel understood. My goal as an illustrator is to create images that spark emotion, bring comfort, and connect with others in an honest and uplifting way.
I’m open to collaborating with publishers, brands, and fellow creatives who are looking for heartfelt, personality-filled illustrations—with a touch of humor and a lot of soul.
